Michael's biography

Michael was born on February 22, 1987 at 4:32 in the afternoon.  It was a Sunday, and he made us wait for a very long time for his arrival.  We hit the Jack Pot with Michael!  When he was born, he was the first grandchild on his mom's side and the first grandson on his dad's side.  He had a grandma, a papa, a nanny and a grumpy.   He had 4 great grandmas and 2 great grandpas.

We all  enjoyed watching him grow.  He was fun, smart, friendly and loveable.  His mom and dad had so much fun with him, and they always shared him with all the extended family.

When he was two, his brother, Matthew, was born.  Michael loved having a little brother.  They both kept their parents very busy.  Michael had a fun childhood growing up on Pebbleview Dr. with lots of neighborhood friends.  He went to English Village School, then Lakeshore School, then Arcadia Middle School and graduated from Arcadia High School.

When he was 12, his baby sister, Kelsey, was born.  What a gift she was to all of us!  Michael said he was the one who got Kelsey for us.  He had prayed every night for a baby sister.  Mom and dad said he could stop praying for any more siblings, as they were delighted with 3 children.

Michael has Aunt Kim and Uncle Scott Spade who live in Greece, NY.  He also has his cousin Kristin and  Steve Spade  children of Aunt Kim and Uncle Scott  Spade of Greece NY. Michael also has another Aunt Kim and Uncle Scott Murray who live in Canton, Michigan.  Their children are Brandon and Nicholas.  In Florida, he has Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Ray Broadie and cousins Caitlyn and Zoe.  In Nebraska, he has Aunt Deborah and Uncle Rod Livingston and cousins Jack and Luke.  He also has lots of other 2nd cousins and great uncles and aunts  who are devoted to him.  He has a dog named Gracie and a cat named Sabretooth.  When Michael is at home, he is the one that always makes sure the animals are fed.  Sabretooth likes Michael the best of any of the family.

Michael has always done very well in school.  Kelsey says he never got an "F" on his report card!  He played baseball, track, hockey and tennis.  He played the trumpet for 4 years, but he decided he didn't want to make a career out of playing the trumpet.  He would have liked to have given it up sooner, but mom and dad had other ideas.  He played hockey all 4 years of high school and did very well.  Many members of his family spent lots of hours at hockey games.  His little sister started going to hockey games when she was 1 week old.  She thought all little girls spent lots of hours at hockey games.

When Michael graduated from Arcadia, he wasn't ready to go away to college.  He loved his own bed, his mom's cooking and his mom did his laundry for him.  He attended Monroe Community College and did very well.  After two years at MCC, he was accepted at St. John Fisher, Geneseo and University at Buffalo.  He decided to go to University at Buffalo in the Accounting program.

Michael loves his family, God, his friends, politics, tennis, having fun, and the Buffalo Sabres. I could go on and on about Michael.  He is really one of the nicest people on the earth.  We are blessed to have him a part of our life.  He has such a good heart!  He has so many friends and family who love him and are praying for a happy ending to this story.  He is working so hard to get better and has wonderful, positive attitude.  He is our Hero!

(written by Michael's Nanny and sister Kelsey) well done!
