Another good day for Michael in Therapy. His student intern in PT is leaving today. We thank Melissa for all she has done to help Michael along on his journey. She has been awesome! Joy and I are working on the adoption papers for our faughters and fon. I hope we don't have a problem since it will be 2 mothers who live in separate houses adopting them. I hope we don't have to worry about a custody battle down the road.

I must have typed that after reading one of the other Fant's blogs cause I have a major typo in there. I meant route, not root (I do teach horticulture so that's my excuse for using "root"). Night Night.

I hope you enjoy the care package we sent from Florida. I am sending cards up your way to keep you busy during those quiet times. Good morning, Mike! Wow...the pictures of you standing tall just make me want to laugh, cry, celebrate and warm my heart so much my chest aches! Thank you Lord!

I know by now you must just be chomping at the bit to GET MOVING! And I know it's so easy for the rest of us to say all the positive things to you, but in the end it still must be frustrating for you. BUT, please know that all the 'things' that all of us are writing are true and not just to make you 'feel better.' You ARE amazing and the fact that this horrible 'thing' took place less than 2 months ago and to see how far you have come (you REALLY have!) is such a promise to you that you WILL recover and you WILL be standing on your own in the future.

Hang in there, sweet Michael, and any frustration you feel, take it out in rehab! You are so loved and I can't wait for that big ol' hug with you in the future! You are my inspiration! Mike, your Nana was the secretary at the school where I work- Briarwood. I can remember you as a little boy- we went camping at Darian Lake and you all were there. I just wanted to tell you that all the teachers at Briarwood are following your progress and cheering you on. I will be sure to remind them to check the website and see your pictures- terrific! That had to have been the result of hours of work and pain- and I love reading how proud all your family is of you. Bless you and keep believing in the power of love that is all around you.

I'm sorry that I did not visit you last night---I am plain old tired. I was in the E.D. the night before until 2am and the next couple of days I am working 12 hrs----I will come to vist you at home. Everyone is home now--I have hockey junk all over the house, dirty clothes, more shoes and boots than the shoe store and guess what---we have " no food or drinks " OMG--its starting already !!!

Too bad you aren't out here...102 today and everyone I know is CRANKY looking forward to the awful summer we will have. What's this I am reading about getting discouraged? You can't get down just because you feel frustrated or don't even think about giving up. It sounds like, from all these crazy blogs, your house is full of people that give you encouragement every day. You are a strong-willed and determined man. One who will conquer this. Remember, sometimes you may feel like you haven't made any accomplishments but you should remember where you have come and how far you have come in such a short amount of time. Remember--Rome wasn't built in a day. You need to take each day as it comes and face the challenge head on. Never let yourself get discouraged! We love you and will write more this weekend. Boy oh boy what tangled webs Fant Nik weaves. I'm going to keep it real, no frontin'...Fant Nik is a hater. The porch thing - was funny - but the truth of the matter is I do eat on my porch - because it is a summer room - it isn't a front stoop like she wants people to believe. I gotta give her props for being funny though. Poor thing needs some positives to build her self esteem up - You go girl - Fant Nik rules, Fant Nik is an awesome blogger - I hope she feels better now.
She is so profound too. That whole thing about tomorrow being a new day...wow, now that is deep. I wonder if she is related to Socrates?

Mikey, Tonight was the saddest I've ever seen you through this, but I still felt so good after leaving you tonight. I was thinking to myself, Kristin you are being so selfish, you should not feel happy right now if he's feeling so down, but then I realized that you really have an amazing way of making the people around you feel so good and feel like a better person. Even though you may feel discouraged, please remember that you make everyone around you feel so great, even at your worst you are able to make people feel at their best- not many people have that impact on others. Matt and I loved spending the entire night with you- just talking, laughing, relaxing and watching a movie, things that seem so simple to others, but it was such an amazing night for us. Please never give up and know that so many people are behind you through this, no matter how long it takes- you will always have a house full of people there who love you so much! I was glad I was able to be there and help you with your first experience in a pool, But it hurt to see you so upset and sad afterwards. Mike, right now everything is new (being home) and its going to take time to adjust to everything, not only for you but your family also. But don't forget, YOUR NOT ALONE!!! The support you receive from your family and friends and your hard work and determination will get you out of this rut. I'm so happy to hear that you're home! This is the 1st time I've actually visited the BLOG section of your website. I usually get my updates from Nanny. So I've been sitting here for the past hour or so reading the latest entries and laughing and crying. I have to say the most entertaining ones are from the 'Fants' Kim, Nik & Karin!
Michael, I was also pleasantly surprised to see the picture of you standing- you have made so much progress. I am so proud of you! I know you have been working so, so hard and now you'll be working even harder at home. I also loved talking to you last weekend. HI MIKE, I JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW THIS STORY.5 YEARS AGO MAY 8TH.CHUCK MY HUSBAND WAS IN A VERY BAD ACCEDENT,THEY TOLD ME THAT HE WAS DIEING FROM ALL HIS COMPLICATIONS AND THAT THEY COULD'NT DO ANYTHING FOR HIM.SO I PRAYED AND PRAYED. 45 DAYS LATER CHUCK OPENED HIS EYES FOR THE FIRST TIME.I TRUELY BELIEVE PRAYES AND SHEER WILL BROUGHT HIM BACK TO US.5 YEARS HAVE GONE BY AND CHUCK IS STILL A VERY BROKEN MAN BUT HE CONTINUES TO FIGHT EVERY DAY TO BECOME THE MAN HE USED TO BE..SO MY POINT IS SO CAN YOU.YOU ARE A VERY STRONG MAN AND YEHA YOU WILL HAVE BAD DAYS BUT YOU CAN OVERCOME THEM BECAUSE TOMMORROW WILL BE BETTER. I'm just getting home from Fant Nik's house. I stopped there after my soccer game to watch American Idol, eat a few tater tots, have some tea and brush the hair of Sami, Matti and Toni. Good times.
I was gonna rip on my sisters (other fants) but ya know what...I don't feel much like it tonight. Just kidding...yes I do. Sounds like Fant Nik wore out her welcome breaking Gramma Joy's nose. Fant Nik doesn't really know how to do much except drive that big ole bus around and pick stuff up, drop little people off so I wouldn't ask her to help with much as she is not capable. Did she ever tell you that she threw up in the pool at Arcadia? Just wondered.
Fant Kim...now what is her story? Her blog wasn't that memorable so I don't even know how to comment. Something about how she buys you crap from Myrtle and that makes her your favorite fant. Go ARMY! Go NAVY! Go Corona! Go Crab Shack! What?! I got some crap too...does that make her my favorite sister?

Mikey- Wow, I don't come over for a day to visit and Grandma gets her nose broken? Geesh, I can't even believe it. I also can't believe Fant Nik could do such a thing-unbelievable! Just kidding Fant Nik, my Grandma is such a clutz, take it from me! :-) Today seemed like a bunch of laughs and fun which makes me so happy- I know you need a lot of laughs Mikey and you'll never stop getting them with this crazy family we have, and yes everyone who comes and visits is considered a part of our family!!!! I don't know about you but I love the fact that our family has grown so much through this- proves the point that good things can come out of what seems so bad, right?

Good luck at your first day of rehab tomorrow at Clinton Crossings- I know you are going to do amazing and start touching lives and making lasting impressions on the first day, because that is how Michael Warren Bliss plays- play hard and really show them what you are made of! Sorry that I have been unable to tame the beast known as Fant Nik. I really don't know how she ever passed English in elementary school. I feel the need to teach her how to spell the word 'there' cause she continues to spell it 'ther'. I guess she will read this when it is nighty night and she is trying to sleep...so maybe she can sleep on it and get it right in the morning. I'll pray for her (rhymes with 'ther'). Fant Kim must have moved into a condo when she returned from Myrtle. I haven't seen any of her blogging - must not get wireless connection in the Stone Rd. Condos.

I was the last Fant to write last night and the first Fant to write this morning - Woot!
You are probably already up and stretched and on your fourth donut. I had to get up a few times during the night cause my dog was thirsty - I hate when that happens.

Hi Michael, My eyes are burning from reading all your blogs. I think I was most impressed with the fants, especially with Fant Nik. She sounds to be very much like myself, and my heart goes out to her. I also have been thrown out of places that I visit too much. It's embarrassing, but I handle it. I don't think I have ever broken anyone's nose, but I have a lot of time yet to practice. Anyhow I am told that I know your Grandma Nancy ( ask her). It seems that we both went to Guided Observation at Pinegrove school many, many years ago, with our children. I am anxious to meet her again. Perhaps she will be with you when I come to visit. We have another tie. I read on your blog from Nanny on Saturday May 24th that you were taken to the Pieters Life Center in Henrietta. My youngest son is very connected to that agency, and I have been there a few times. It has not been open too long. Every thing I read on this web site and all that I hear from Patti and the kids is so hopeful. MIRACLES ARE HAPPENING! Your strength and determination are so inspiring to all who know you. I wonder if you know how very much you are giving to all the rest of us. Every phone call I make, there has been only one person who has not heard about you ( they must h ave been in Cambodia). Good morning Mike, FYI to Mikes parents,Papa took excellent care of Mike until it came time to eat.Supposedly Mikes hotdogs were not ready so papa filled his dish and sat down to eat.We happened to notice Mike just sitting there empty plated right next to papa,we heard a lot of excuses,the best one being why let the food sit there hot, but dont worry, his new fafriends took care of him he got plenty of food and drink ! Apples dont fall far from the tree though, I can see Mikey can put away alot of food also ! I thought it was going to be papa running off with the ziplock bags, but I noticed someone else with a couple in his lap as he was leaving . Please feed Mike before you let Papa take him again ! We had a great time with you Mike, we cant wait for you to come back and hang out with us again. I know you have heard this before but I need to tell you,of everything you have been thru in the last 2 months, the spirit, the positive attitude and the sense of humor that you have is incredible. Wow, look at all this fan blogging. I can't keep up with all these fant people!! I told Nanny it must be a crazy house but one filled with people who love you and care about you. It sounds like you are mastering with that bike at the gym--that is absolutely wonderful to hear. Keep yourself busy it doesn't sound like that will be too hard and also keep the faith. I met with my pastor today to pray for you and give you guidance and just keep believing that God has a master plan through all of this. You are one tough guy who has an abundance of people praying for you. I hope to try and head up there in the next couple of months during the summer with the girls and Ray. As I sat with you last night Mikee - and thought of how your Mom and Dad have stood by you and Kelsey and Matt and of the things you said Sunday - it just overwelmed me. Here you were with your Dad and me stretching etc. your Mom had to carry on with life - taking Kelsey swimming and then there is Brownies and making sure either Mom or Dad get Kelsey from school, Dad trying to go to school and Mom working - it can't be easy by any stretch. Then Nanny comes in to help with the night shift - it is such a group effort by all and your appreciation and love for them is so obvious. Sunday, when you mentioned that your parents have been outstanding and have really stepped up - well there is stepping up AND there is stepping up, but they have gone beyond, is to say the least amazing. Evewryone loves you and will be there but cudos to Mom and Dad, Matt and Kelsey and my love to them and you.

I just want to thank everyone again for everything!! I love you all from the bottom of my heart. It means the world to me. I'd like to especially thank my parents and let them know that I love them more than words could ever express. They put every ounce of their energy into my care and I am being shaped physically and mentally by them along this journey. They are truly my role models. Also, Thanks to Uncle Scott and PaPa(Hutch) for helping with trips to Batavia. Love you both very much!! Love to everyone else as well. I want to reasure you all that with this infinite support and faith in God, that I will bounce back from this rough patch. Continue to BELIEVE, and know that I will walk back into the gym at Holy Cross to not only celebrate God's healing powers and my recovery but also the love and support of family and all of you who have helped guide me through this obstacle.


Some of the most encouraging lessons I've learned since 3/22/08.... "Always have faith in God and his abilities". "Love life and ALL those who will allow". "Family is everything" and lastly (2 hours later,lol), "Don't sweat the small things.... forgiveness is a must when all is said and done". I love you all so much!!

Michael just got in bed and is ready for his big day in Buffalo tomorrow. We had a great dinner tonight thanks to the fants. We had appetizers, entrees, veges, beverages, deserts, popcorn. They covered everything. The night before Bob and Mary Rice brought us a turkey dinner. Adrianne made us dinner last week, Aunt Kim made us dinner another night, grandma another night. My friend Linda brought us a delicious chocolate cake. We have had meals every night from someone. My new and old neighbors have kept us well-fed with many meals also. Guess what, I cooked my first meal since Michael was hurt on Friday night. It seemed so strange. What a blessing friends and family are. You give us the strength to keep fighting. We love all of you.

Hey Mike, Just got off the phone with PaPa (Hutch) and Lynn. He told me about the exciting day you had meeting Kevin Everett. That is so great. He also said he took you to the Buffalo trauma center and you had a welcoming committee there. It's just so amazing the people you have touched and how many have reached out to you. We hit a bump in the road today. Michael spiked a high fever today and we could not get it to come down. We were very scared. After trying desperately to get the fever down, we had to send Michael back to the hospital. He ended up having a urinary tract infection and got some IV fluids, antibiotics and was sent home. It was a stressful and tiring day but Michael is glad to be back home. I get so upset when we are constantly worrying about Michael and caring for him to learn that one of the men charged with this attack that has left our son a quadraplegic has been out playing beer pong since the attack. He also recently had a surprise birthday party. It is heartbreaking to know that Michael's life and our family life has drastically changed yet this man and his family show little concern or remorse. Thank god for all of the good people still left in the world and for all of the people who have been so supportive and caring to us during this difficult time. Please just pray that Michael gets over this infection quickly and can continue to work to accomplish his goals.

I am devasted to hear the struggles you are now facing with the urinary tract infection. Even though I didn't blog yesterday I was still thinking about you and hoping you were feeling better. It sounds from all the hoopla that you were...good deal. It's going to be another blister of a day today -hot, hot, hot. I like it that way though...I wonder if Fant Nik opened up her pool? I'm going to have to check on that one. I stayed with Michael last night. We think he has another urinary tract infection! We are waiting to hear from the doctor. Last night Jackie and Don Mann brought us a delicious dinner. I'm never going to be able to lose any weight until Michael makes a complete recovery. Today Diana Petrella, a friend Michael met at Strong Rehab, brought Michael over a beautiful power recliner. He loves it! Melissa, his PT student intern from Strong, is here and will do some stretches with him. His friend, Steve, from Strong Rehab was here last night and is coming over today. Michael still loves all the company. I took a break today and went on the Greece Garden Tour. Fant Nikki's father-in-law's house was on the tour. He is a delightful man and had lots of good things to say about his daughter-in-law. Again, I have to say how blessed we are with all the good people in our life!!

Today we are starting another antibiotic to fight this nasty Urinary Tract Infection that has been causing some bumps in the road for Michael. This time Michael's doctor wants us to try antibiotics by shots to the butt twice a day for 10 days. Michael is so excited to get his butt shots. Hopefully, this will cure the infection so Michael can continue to make progress. Keep fighting Mike. I believe.

Good morning, dear Michael...well, it sounds like a few new developments this past week...accupuncture and standing 3X's a day! You know, those are biggies and I know will help you to move along. I know it seems like things are probably not moving as fast as you would like, but, wow, look where you came from and we all think you are incredible. I could never have accomplished what you have or have the spirit you have shown...and, no, it's not because I am old! You are a true inspiration and when this is all over, I hope you will somehow find the time to help inspire others going thru similar trials.

Another hot one today out here in Vacaville, CA!!! 102!! We all hate it and summer isn't even officially here yet. I ran into someone from Phoenix and she said that they won't see anything below 100 until Oct!!! Said it gets to 123 but they are 'used to it.' How in the heck do you get used to that!! The area out here is basically very flat but when you get to Vacaville, the terrain gets hilly. Miles and miles of hills that are all just dried out straw now. Yesterday as I was out doing errands, saw flames and smoke so, of course, had to check it out. By the time I got there our wonderful fire dept. had it all under control but about an acre of hillside was burned. One of these days, the hills around here are going to get hit big. So many houses and horse farms and wild life animals up there...pretty scary. Luckily, we are far enough away not to be at risk...saying a little prayer to back that up!

Glad to see from the blogs that you are feeling better. You know, it might be a little dangerous to be cranky with mom...the one wielding that big ol' needle! How about I be cranky for you...I live by myself (except for Callie, my precious kitty) so I can be cranky and no one will know.

I wish Megan well tomorrow with her gall bladder extraction and, I for one, WILL miss her daily quote...where does that girl get them????

I hear Josh is spending the nite with you this weekend? Wish I could be a fly in the corner...I read all your blogs and hate being on the outside looking in...farm animals?...the Fants??? It has been 13 weeks since that senseless act of violence. That Saturday morning drive to Buffalo is still a day I am trying to forget. I remember seeing you and wondering why this happened. I will never understand! I hope the individuals that inflicted this injury feel the same pain that you and our whole family feel(and friends) every day.I want to tell you that I am proud of you and will always be there for your recovery no matter how long it takes.

Dear One(s)...I am so moved by the above blogs. I shouldn't even be writing this cause I don't really know what to say...I am so humbled by you, Mike, and your loved ones, especially your mom and dad. I can't imagine getting that dreaded phone call that all parents pray they won't receive. And I imagine they never thought they would encounter what they did when they got there.

As your Aunt Janet says, I know I can't imagine what it entails for all of you to work to just get thru the day. So many trivial acts we all take for granted...altho, maybe not so much anymore.

We are so desensitized to violence these days...it's everywhere and actually treated as entertainment...can you imagine??? Until it hits home. For some reason, you are a lesson to us all and your never ending courage and strength so touches our hearts.

Cherri and Mike, I have heard so many wonderful things about you...how blessed your children are to have parents like you. Looks like today is going to be a nice day - so get out and ride your scooter. I would love to come and jog with you some time, although we could skip the photo op Aunt Kim suggested. Fant Karin should really not be publicly announcing my birthday since I stopped having them years ago. And I did not ruin my We Like Mike shirt with hair dye. I really do have a lot of mishaps with my hair. One time I was mixing cake batter and my hair got too close to the bowl and got all twisted up in the beater. That was fun getting that out. How are you? I just wanted to check in and let you know that I still believe and I still cannot get over how awesome you are! When I was home at the end of May, I couldn't get over how much progress you had made over the course of that month from the time I had been home before that (at the beginning of May). I will be home on the weekend of July 12th and really look forward to seeing you then and continuing to be amazed by your progress.

You're so strong and I am so proud of your continuous progress and especially how driven you are. I can't wait until you're walking again- because you WILL walk and run and swim and play hockey and drive and all of your hard work will make all of those things that much better. You have so much to look forward to and when the days get difficult (as they sometimes will) just think about how great it will be when you are walking again.

Wow. War of the Fants. Fant Nik is all fired up. Fant Kim's ready to break out and have Christmas in July. I'm staying out of this one. I do however take care of my nieces and nephews since I do not have my own children. I like to spoil them so that they have fond memories of their time with me... and so that one of them will take care of me and let me live with them when I am old and need rides to the store and to get my hair "did". I was taking Toni to see the Yankees long before Fant Kim scheduled a mani-pedi anyway, but whatever. I'm the most stable Fant in case you didn't pick up on that yourself.

Happy 4th, dear Michael...it sounds like you and your family are at the lake today for fireworks? I sure hope so...it sounds wonderful.

It's very nice out here today. 85ish with a slight breeze and I even think some of the fires are out...only 600, down from 1400 so the air is alot cleaner, also. No plans for the 4th out here. I did just get back from 2 nights in Lake Tahoe to celebrate my nephew's 40th. Boy, that is certainly God's Country! So beautiful! It's about 2 1/2 hours from here and it's so hard to believe that country that beautiful is so close. Blue sky, pine trees and that wonderful lake. Went up to the top of the mountain on a gondola...the mother of all gondola's, let me tell you! I have been wanting to do that for years and now I can say I did it, but NEVER again. For one that does not like heights, it was not the right choice. At least, I kept my eyes open; figured I might as well see where I'm going to land if the thing gave way. More than I can say for my sis. She didn't see ONE THING! We had to hold her hands while she squeezed her eyes shut the whole time. Don't you think for $26 she would've wanted to see SOMETHING? Kind of makes me think of the Fants..don't know why but it does...and I won't say which one, either.

Nanny, Nanny, Nanny...you are wonderful! I got the Insider yesterday when I got home and, you are right, I did so enjoy the wonderful article on my 'other grandson.' Makes me so proud...I share the story of his courage and grace to anyone who will listen. And everyone is so taken with it and pulling for him. I, too, BELIEVE Mike will walk again. Yesterday was another great day for our family. We got to talk with Kevin and his amazing family and also Mayor Brown of Buffalo. Megan and her friend Melanie were also there along with the rest of our gang. It was a beautiful day in Buffalo. The BEST was when Michael was called to come to the front of the tent and presented with a check for $2500.00 from the Kevin Everett Foundation. We so enjoyed our day and then that was the topping on the cake. Wow what a week this has been - We celebrated Fant Kim's birthday on Thursday with all the Fants and Fant Niki's children, then had a wonderful time at Kim and Scott Spade's on the 4th, then Michael and family went to Fant Niki's for fireworks, then to Buffalo yesterday for the Kevin Everett Celebration. We also have Aunt Kim, Brandon and Nicholas from Michigan here for a few days. Also, Michael Trass (Joy's cousin's grandson), went with us yesterday and spent the night with Michael. He is eleven and is awesome at stretching Michael. There is only one thing that will make our life better, and that is when Michael is all recovered. We have to be patient. Thanks again to all of you for being here for us.

REASONS WHY WEGMANS BAGS ARE BETTER THAN UMBRELLAS:
1. Lightweight. Will not mess up your hair. Especially important if you have spent time on doing your hair, instead of just throwing it up in a ratty ponytail without even glancing in the mirror to see if there are any strays or loops of hair that should be brushed.
2. Good for local economy. Bags are made here, not in Taiwan where cheap umbrellas are made. Go USA!!!
3. Recycling. Always good for the environment. Go Green!
4. Readily available. There are always tons of bags already in the house as opposed to the umbrella which is in the trunk of the car. Need an umbrella to go get your umbrella, kind of defeats the purpose.
5. Finally, when you are done, you can try to sneak bag over sister's head in attempt to suffocate her. Unfortunately, if she is freakishly strong, this particular maneuver will backfire in a nasty way.

The sign that this is the place is that we are going on July 27 - one year anniversary for our loss of Grumpy! Hi Michael, Hope you had a great morning. I just read alot of the blogs. They are so funny! Who is "?". All the Fants are funny and we love you all. I received an e-mail from Kathryn,NWA, and she is going to call me tomorrow and make sure all the reservations are correct. Also I asked her if she could check and see if there were any timeshares available that she knows of. A house (wheelchair accessible of course) would be so much more comfortable for all of you. SITUATIONS IN WHICH "HOW RUDE" IS APPROPRIATE RESPONSE
1. When your sister gets a new coat that you like better than your own, sneak out of the house early for school wearing it. She does not notice until you are too far away for her to catch you and make you take it off. (This was done by Fant Kim to Fant Karin in about the 7th grade)
2. Buy special snacks, like pudding in a can, with your own money and then lick the leftovers in an effort to keep your moochy sisters and brother from eating it. This however does not work and they have repaid me a million times over by grocery shopping in my cupboards and fridge now that we are all grown up. I also have to buy stuff that we don't even like, so that a certain little boy named Marky does not have a meltdown when I don't have any whipped yogurt that he can eat with a measuring spoon.
3. In a similar rude fashion, I am told that I also bought pizza and chicken wings and would not share with my poor starving siblngs. They report that they were only allowed to eat the leftover crusts and nibble on the bones when my boyfriend (now Funcle Joe) and I were finished.
4. Deciding that someone in the house has something that you think you should be the owner of and just taking it as your own. When you are confronted with the evidence, you should reply, "you gave this to me", although it is a complete lie. This is a favorite technique of Fant Nik's and she still uses this method today if she sees something in your house that she wants.
5. Telling your broth er and sisters "Move your $%^&*() car, I'm goingto be late for %^&* church!!!!" Direct quote from Fant Karin, about age 16 or 17. Rude and blasphemous.
6. Waking your sister out of a sound sleep to ask her if you can take her car, knowing full well she will say yes cuz she's still half asleep and you know she would say no if she was awake. This sweet maneuver was performed by Funcle Mark on many occasions and Fant Kim was never awake enough at the time to catch on.

I apologize in advance to my family if these stories embarrass them, but I think they'll forgive me because they know the purpose of the blog is to cheer you up, make you laugh or just say "My fant is so gay". Have a great day!! Lov ya lots!!! Fant Kim

It's another hot one today, hope the AC is on. If it's not, fake a fainting spell, so they'll put it on. If you don't know how, I would be glad to show you, as I fainted at Funcle Joe's Senior Ball while waiting in line for pictures because it was so hot. Yep, right down to the ground in a full length gown - not embarrassing at all and surpringly Funcle Joe did not abandon me and pretend I wasn't his date. I also fainted while I was pregnant with Nick at Neiman Marcus in Atlanta and at Sam's Club on Ridge Road, among other places, so I do have mad fainting skills. I think the key is to say "Um, I can't see anything, everything is black" and then go down. So, try it, it should work.
I would like to address all you bloggers out there. As you know, Michael is leaving for Project Week next Sunday and this is a huge step in his recovery. He especially needs everyone's love and support now. If you have never left a blog (a virgin blocker, try it, it won't hurt), an occasional blogger or a repeat offender, please leave a message before he goes. It would be great if we could get the count up to 1000 before he goes. I know a lot of you out there read the blogs all the time, but don't always leave one, so I'm going to make some suggestions for those of you who have writer's block.
A) I have been following your story and/or stalking you, but have been afraid to leave you a message, but I just wanted you to know that I care and wish you success on your next step to recovery.
B)I read your blogs all the time, but have only left a couple of them (Funcle Mark), but please know that I think of you all the time and wish you nothing but the best in San Diego.
C)I leave blogs all the time,so you know I love you.

If you can't type all that, just type A, B or C, although it would be sweet if you could personalize it.
